Welcome to Overworld Gaming!
A gaming blog which launched in early 2020 to combat my ever increasing Covid-19 lockdown boredom and as a passion project – which I fully intend to use to demonstrate my interest in journalism to potential employers – because quite frankly I love video games and now no one can tell me they are a waste of time.
On this gaming blog you’ll find articles reviewing, recommending and sometimes just openly discussing video games from all different genres. I will be covering games available on PC, Nintendo Switch and PS4 along with the Xbox exclusives you can access on PC with Game Pass (I know, I’m sorry Xbox fans, I don’t own an Xbox One).
Expect to see plenty of content about the next generation of gaming consoles including confirmed launch – or near launch – titles for the PS5 and Xbox Series X, which are set to release Winter 2020.
